Metro Boomin, Latto Announced As Performers, Amazon Music Live Series

Amazon Music Live has revealed Metro Boomin and Latto as the next performers for its live-streamed concert series, hosted by 2 Chainz.

On Oct. 12, the super-producer will take the stage with a few surprise special guests and two weeks from then, the Grammy-nominated rapper will perform. Ahead of the Heroes & Villains and “Put It On Da Floor” entertainers taking the stage, Lil Durk will also perform this week on Friday (Oct. 5).

Season Two will also feature live American Sign Language performers interpreting words for hard-of-hearing viewers. Season One of Amazon Music Live included performances by Lil Baby, Megan Thee Stallion, Kane Brown, Lil Wayne, Anuel AA, A$AP Rocky, Anitta, and 21 Savage.

Some of the stand-out moments from the series included 2 Chainz and Lil Wayne’s surprise reunion for “Duffle Bag Boy,” and A$AP Rocky announcing his upcoming album Don’t Be Dumb and debuting the song, “Same Problems?”

In additional Metro Boomin and Latto news, the two recently garnered nominations at the 2023 MTV Video Music Awards. The producer performed and was up for Best Collaboration, Best Hip-Hop, Best R&B, and Album of The Year, as the rapstress won Song of The Summer for her collaboration with BTS’ Jung Kook.

The two are also both nominated four times each at this year’s BET Hip-Hop Awards. Latto is up for Best Hip-Hop Video, Best Collaboration, Song of The Year, and Best Featured Verse. Metro is nominated for Hip-Hop Album of The Year, Producer of The Year, DJ of The Year, and Best Featured Verse.

Each week’s Amazon Music Live show is filmed live in front of an audience in Los Angeles, and tickets are available by invitation only via DICE.
